DEEP CLEANING, as provided by W.S.I., is
a comprehensive cleaning of the plant from ceiling to floor with special emphasis on paint
shops to help eliminate dirt sources. Areas cleaned in the Deep Cleaning Process are
ceilings, structural beams, piping, walls, floors and all process equipment. Deep
Cleaning can be accomplished by either Wet or Dry Cleaning. In most cases a
combination of both is utilized.
WET CLEANING, where applicable, utilizes mild detergents
sprayed at low pressures to loosen dirt. We then moderate high water pressure at a
low water volume to rinse clean the surfaces. Prior to the wet cleaning process, all
necessary equipment is protected by covering. All water is controlled by portable
vacuuming procedures.
DRY CLEANING is accomplished by using vacuuming
procedures to remove large build-up and hand wiping with lint free tac cloth to finesse
clean the areas. Areas will be sealed off with visqueen or like material to prevent
particulate that might become airborne from the cleaning process. No dirt will be
allowed to accumulate on floors, etc. to insure that foot traffic does not cause dirt to
be further spread throughout the plant.
